Last Week of Jerry Uelsmann: Untitled & August Gallery Closure

Posted on Aug 12, 2014

Well, it's August again and that means Houston is enshrouded in stiffling heat and humidity. It also means we are approaching the end of Jerry Uelsmann: Untitled this Saturday, August 16, here at the gallery. For over five decades, Jerry Uelsmann has challenged and transformed the art form of photography, deemphasizing its function as documentation and further liberating it as a form of artistic expression. Untitled features works from throughout Uelsmann’s celebrated career, including rare and early vintage work as well as contemporary work from the last several years. If you haven't had a chance to make it into the gallery yet to check out the show, now is a great time to come in and see the work of a true photography master in person.
