Today is National Save a Spider Day! These 11x14" prints from the exhibition Not a Cloud in the Sky are the largest of Rachel Phillips' monoprints of abandoned spider webs, the size of which is limited by the size of the webs Rachel can find at the end of spider season in Northern California!

Save a Spider Day is celebrated on March 14 annually in the U.S. in part to reduce arachnophobia, a fear of spiders, and to conserve spiders and their habitats while recognizing the important role they play in our natural environment.
