Wendi Schneider Featured at The Photography Show Presented by AIPAD 2022

As the commencement date for The Photography Show presented by AIPAD 2022 grows nearer, Catherine Couturier Gallery is pleased to feature the work of Artist Wendi Schneider.
Schneider is a Denver-based visual artist whose lush images illuminate a deep reverence for organic forms in the natural world. Seeking balance between the real and imagined, Schneider layers images digitally with color and texture. Images are then printed with archival pigment ink on vellum or kozo. White gold, silver or 24k gold leaf is applied behind the image, creating a silken luminosity on the print's surface. She creates unique objects of reverence to preserve vanishing beauty in our vulnerable environment.
Schneider’s photographs are held in the permanent collections of The New Orleans Museum of Art, The Center for Creative Photography, The Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, The Auburn University Library Special Collections, and The Try-Me Collection, as well as numerous private collections. Her work has been published and exhibited extensively worldwide.

The Photography Show presented by AIPAD will be on view from May 20-22, 2022, at Center415 on Fifth Avenue between 37th and 38th streets.
