Rice's Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies
Center for Community Learning and Engagement Students
Rice Continuing Studies invites you to join us
Thursday, March 12, 2026, 5-6:30 p.m. for our opening reception celebrating the 2026 art exhibitions at Rice’s Anderson-Clarke Center.
Our 2026 Student Exhibition, “Between Home and Elsewhere,” was juried by Houston gallerist Catherine Couturier and Houston-born, Ireland-based curator Erika Mei Chua Holum.
In addition, we are honored to open our 2026 Art Instructor Exhibition, “The Art of Becoming,” highlighting the artwork of Rice Continuing Studies photography and studio art instructors Peter Brown, Mark Chen, Jeff Fitlow, Tom Flaherty, Terri Golas, Stanley Kaminiski, Ellen Orseck and Laura Spector.
We look forward to recognizing all of the school’s student and instructor artists at the opening reception.
This event is free and open to the public.
