We are saddened to hear of the passing of Amelia "Lee" Marks, a founding member of AIPAD and a treasured human being. Lee served as AIPAD president for four years and was a staunch promoter and expert in fine art photography for over 50 years. Her loss will be felt deeply within the community.
A celebration of the life of Lee Marks will be held September 10, 2026 in Bloomington in conjunction with the opening of the exhibition showcasing her and her huband's photography collection. AIPAD will also honor her life at the Photography Show 2026, taking place at the Park Avenue Armory from April 22 - 26, 2026.
