The 39th Houston Italian Festival is now accepting applications for their Second Annual Festival Photo Contest! The theme, 'That's Amore! -An Italian Love Affair with Family, Food and Fun,' will aim to celebrate all aspects of Italian culture. Submitted photographs will be on display in the University of St. Thomas Gallery during the week of the festival and will be auctioned off at that time. A panel of jurors, including Catherine Couturier, will select a first, second and third prize winner from both the adult and student categories. Winners will each receive a prize. The application submission deadline is September 15th, or until the maximum number of applications have been received. Only amateur photography will be accepted.
